The navy ground is decorated with birds and running animals along with leafy stems and shrubs, and supports a three full-column allover pattern of cartouches, octilobe roundels and eight-lobe motives. Details in cream, light green and light blue. Mushroom border of curved leaf arabesques. The Habibian atelier was active in this central Persian town in the post-WWII period and was known for its finely woven rugs with classical overtones. Good condition.
