This Kurdish city Bidjar scatter rug shows an octofoil medallion with palmette pendants at each point, in dark blue on the overall red ground in a small Herati pattern. Ecru small corners. The near black main border shows distorted, but fun, simple palmettes. Good condition. “Iron Rug”.
