Moderately woven on cotton, this interwar NW Persian village carpet features a red field well-filled with a navy octogramme medallion, ragged palmette pendants, and various semi-geometric devices. Saw teeth and micro-stepping are very much in evidence as outlines. Navy strip-style border with reversing turtles. One end visibly reduced. Otherwise good condition.
