Probably from Turbat-i-Haideri in Eastern Persia, this well-woven nomadic artefact on an all wool foundation, shows a characteristic "tree of life" with 14 paired fan leaves. Small boteh fillers. Two "running dog" reciprocals frame, Broad flat woven ends with supplemental weft patterning. Excellent wool. Braided closure loops intact at the open end. Good condition.
