A wide ivory hexagonal band filled with paired small scrolling leaves accentuates the field and encloses a similarly decorated red panel and an inner midnight black, again en suite decorated. Diagonal color rows of tiny botehs fill the corners. Main coral red reversing palmette border. A finely woven SW tribal piece with an innovative design. In the 1970's and later the Qashghai weavers broke away from traditions to weave wholly new designs, as here. Good condition.
