The old ivory field displays echelons of bent, C-shaped, serrated, horizontal leaves fastened to vertical poles. The pattern twice slips laterally towards one end, a delightful tribal feature. Coral-pink main border of blue triangles and flip-flop simple palmettes. Narrow rhomboid pattern extra pile strip at each end. The pattern is also seen on SW tribal Baseri Khamseh rugs. Here it is SE Afshar instead. Moderate/medium weave. Good condition.
