Balouch Rug Antique, early 20^th century. The dark, saturated red field shows a honeycomb lattice with a unidirectional filling of starkly geometric small flowers in navy. The narrow main border shows ‘S’ like diagonal leaf bars. Two secondary bitonal ecru and near black reciprocal minors. Decorated flatwoven end weaves are mostly preserved.
