Four Cedar Waxwings’ theme originates from Christi Belcourt’s love of “the intricate beauty of all nature” and the idea that all things are interconnected. “Perhaps there isn’t a more perfect looking bird as the cedar waxwing,” says Belcourt.
This artwork is inspired by Elder Mary Wemigwans’ quote: “the health of the animals depends on the health of the earth, and we depend on the health of everything.”
