The Aryan tribes of Sistan and NE, mostly nomadic, weaving small rugs in allover, medallion and niche (prayer) designs. Moderate to fine weave. All wool, numerous bag types. Usually dark palettes with navy, wine red and ecru accents. Collectibles expensive, but generally inexpensive.
